The business card is not dead.

I know it may seem that within the digital age business cards have become irrelevant, but they’re actually an essential tool.

Did you notice the logo design on the Swan Bay wine label? Here’s a closer look!

Slightly tweaking the design layout can make all the difference! Here are 3 layouts, using all the same elements.

As a designer one thing to think about is WHERE this design will live, and another is WHAT is its purpose?

This wine bottle will exist on a shelf amongst many many other wines and this wine is made to be purchased and enjoyed. So it MUST stand out! And the wine itself can do the rest..

The light beige border in the third design makes the wine label and type of wine pop out. While the full border edging packs a punch and is sure to stand out beside its competitors.

It’s hard not to have wine on the mind during these uncertain times..

It’s been really long, too long since I’ve shared any of my work. But now, (like many of us) there’s a lot more free time to fill!

Here’s a mock design of ‘Swan Bay’ wine label. Colours inspired by Pinot Noir and the sandy coast! Art portrays a minimalist map of Swan Bay.

Fish, fish and more fish!

Some illustration I did a while back while working for Roar Strategy and Design. These illustrations were done using black pen and what I call a 'dotting technique', which is thousands upon thousands of dots!

This job was for a client who started The Foolhardys. A group of guys that love to fish, and made a few tee's in the process!

Reminiscing on a job I did back in the day, working for Roar Strategy and Design.

We had the chance to be a bit more creative with this brief, and steer away from the normal landscape business card. Inspired by Pantone colour cards, we used pops of pastel colours and incorporated the 'perfect' foundation swash. Keeping it clean and simple with minimal text, made it stand out more visually!

There has been so much happening in the last few weeks it's all been chaos! But all good chaos... As some of you may know, I've made my way back to the sandy shores, and now have plenty of space for a little studio set up! Yay!!
