Both small-business tourism clients and the leading tourism research institute in Australia.

Being a mum to a 3 year old and new preppy, school drop-offs, creek afternoons and colourful chaos in between.

That final crawl to the end. Did you feel it too?
We made it! A mix of heat exhaustion from the 201 Christmas concerts, getting through all those final projects, year end celebrations, gift buying and holiday prepping.

I actually love Christmas.
I feel so grateful for my mix of work and mum life.
I always look forward to my monthly visit to coworking space, to mix up my usual work from home or the library.

Word of the year for 2025 was ‘Centered’.
My brain slowed. I thought deeper.
I felt calmer and enjoyed the mix of client socials and project gigs this year.
Still yelled at my children, but less than before and have wrapped 2025 feeling proud, grateful and oh so ready for the break & to jump into 2026!

I’m a new year vibe girl. I’ve got my 2026 word written.

Sending you love this holiday season.

This time spotlight this incredible work by Dr Made Handijaya Dewantara’s PhD on the powerful force of the parasocial relationships we form with travel influencers.

I’ve been working with Griffith University quite a bit of late, also coming on board casually as a full team member to further assist across the Griffith Advantage Leadership Training Engagement Team and the wider Griffith Business School Research Team.
