AI-generated artwork can look amazing, and we're happy to print the files you send us. However, it's important to remember that artwork created for screens doesn't always translate perfectly to print.

Some common issues we see include:

🎨 Colours that change when converted from RGB to CMYK

📏 Incorrect sizing or resolution

✂️ Text and graphics placed too close to the edge

🖼 Missing bleed for edge-to-edge printing

📐 Crop marks that aren't suitable for finishing
In many cases, our prepress team can adjust your artwork and prepare it for professional printing. Please note that files requiring additional setup or correction may incur a prepress make-ready fee.

AI is a fantastic creative tool, but print still requires a little human expertise.

Digital Print Production Assistant
Excell Printing is a premier, long-established Print and Design Group, with branches in the Eurobodalla and the Sapphire Coast of NSW.
An excellent opportunity exists in our Batemans Bay office. We are looking for that special someone with a professional attitude, a strong work ethic, a bright mind, an enthusiastic personality and a willingness to learn our business. For the right person, full training will be given, therefore no industry specific skills are required.
Our Batemans Bay branch is a small and friendly office, so it is vital you have a personality suited to working as part of a team. You will also need to have good problem-solving and organisational skills, close attention to detail, a professional appearance, and the ability to interact professionally with our clients.
After a successful completion of a trial period, this position will be permanent and full-time, 8:30-4:30, Monday to Friday.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Print production
• Deliveries and errands in the company vehicle
• Counter and phone customer service
• General cleaning of workshop
Job Requirements
• Sound problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software programs
• Willingness to take direction with the ability to work independently
• A flexible approach whilst being both punctual and reliable
• A professional appearance and a courteous manner is essential
