in case you're new here, I thought I would share a little bit about the person behind Lucky Cat Social! Get to know the girl behind the laptop 👩🏻‍💻

🧋 Bubble tea courses through my veins. You'll never catch me with a coffee or matcha (sorry) but bubble tea? absolutely!

☀️ I'm such a beach baby! Being at the beach in the summer time is my favourite thing ever!

🐶 I recently got a puppy! Her name is Miso and she's a Cavoodle x Maltese (and the light of my life)

🌏 Travel is such an important part of my life. Even when I was a kid, I knew I wanted to work for myself so I could travel and work from anywhere! Possibly going away this year too 🇫🇷🤫

🧶 If I'm not working or playing with my puppy, then I'm crocheting. I got into crochet in 2021 and I'm addicted to making clothes now (for me and my dog hehe)

🎥 I've been making YouTube videos since 2013 and it is such a passion of mine! I absolutely love making videos and documenting my life! (search 'Cass Wong' if you're interested in subscribing!)

One way to reach people that no other medium can is through video content. I've always loved the way people use video to connect with each other, and I want to help businesses/creators/youtubers connect with their audience!

Here's how I can help:

hellloooo 2022 🎉I'm officially back in the (home) office after a 2-week break and I am actually SO excited to be back at work! (what a weirdo 😅) enjoy this mini photo dump from my time off!

Seriously though, I feel so lucky that I have found a job where I am actually excited to go back to work instead of dreading it! Don't get me wrong, I definitely will be missing lounging around on my couch all day though haha

I thought I'd reintroduce myself for any new faces (and incase some of you have forgotten me 🤪). My name is Cass and I am a freelance content creator, social media manager and youtube video editor! I started Lucky Cat Social almost a year ago after quitting my 9-5 job and I couldn't be happier! It’s my dream to work with content creators and businesses to help them create their dream socials 💕(If anyone wants to chat more about this then DM me!)

I also wanted to share some of my goals for 2022:
✿ grow my own YouTube channel and help manage other people's channels
✿ do a course to spice up my video editing skills (as this is what I am most passionate about!!)
✿ organize small breaks at least every quarter so I can avoid burnout (and actually rest)
✿ be less hard on myself when things don't go to plan or I'm having a not so productive day
✿ overall be the happiest and healthiest I can be!

officially OOO! Today was my last full day of work for this year! I cannot thank you all enough for your support, this first year in business has been incredible and I cannot wait to see what 2022 has in store for us! I'll be taking a short break to spend time with family and friends but I already can't wait to get back to work soon (wow did I really just say that 😅perks of absolutely loving my job!!)

A SMM is responsible for curating a brand's social platforms. This can mean setting up an account, optimising that account and monitoring it to make sure it fulfils the brands marketing goals. They focus on different platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest & more. They also create and implement social media/content strategies in order to further achieve the brands goals as well as responding to clients messages/DMs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They work with business owners to best optimise/monetise their platforms so that they can focus on their business and not have to worry about the social media side of things.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A Content Creator creates content for a brands social account (not to be confused with an Influencer who posts to their own account to promote a product to their audience). This can mean creating graphics, taking photos & videos for the brand to use. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let’s catch up over a coffee ☕️✨ With a re-brand comes a re-introduction right? There are so many new faces here so I wanted to say hey! From leaving my 9-5 in January to now it’s been a crazy journey so let’s catch up!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you’ve followed me from the start, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been going back and forth about the services I offer and even done a re-brand (or two). When I started this business 8 months ago, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but since then I have grown so much and learned A LOT! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For a little while there, I was filled with self doubt and uncertainty about the future and even though I am still working through it I realised that I don’t need to have everything figured out and what is meant to be will be 💘 I’m just focusing on enjoying every single moment of this journey and being kinder to myself! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now, I am so secure in where I want my brand to go and what services I want to offer.
