I work with on an ongoing basis as a Creative Specialist. I do a lot of work with Aboriginal artists to infuse their incredible art form into every client document, website, branding, print projects, and more.

I am SO privileged to be able to work with them and learn more about one of the oldest continuous living cultures in the world.

The Yonga team and the amazing Aboriginal artist, Biara Martin, attended the Haines launch of the new medi-curtain design last month.

I had the privilege of working on the graphic design with Haines to pull the elements from the original artwork by Biara, and create a calming and healing pattern for patients.

It's one of my favourite parts of this job, working with such talented artists in a cultural art form that tells stories like no other, by one of the oldest living cultures in the world. 🖤💛❤️

Another project done and dusted and another very happy client!

Next time you're visiting your local hospital, take notice of the medi-curtains. A lot of time and effort goes into creating something visually beautiful but also calming for the patients. 💙

This design pays tribute to the traditional custodians of this land, and the incredible Aboriginal artist who created the initial artwork (who will be credited pending receiving their full name). 🖤💛❤️
