Design City turns 26 today. It is not an April Fools!
And we’re being real, it hasn’t been the easiest year.
With the rise of AI and a fast-moving industry, the landscape is shifting quickly. The noise is louder. The pace is relentless. And the value of design is being questioned in new ways.
But here’s what hasn’t changed.
We are bespoke.
We are human-led.
And we still believe—deeply—that design should matter.
For 26 years, we’ve been crafting brands with intention. Not just making things look good, but making them work—strategically, commercially, and meaningfully. That kind of thinking doesn’t come from shortcuts. It comes from experience, instinct, collaboration, and care.
AI has its place. It’s a tool.
But it will never replace the nuance of human thinking, the lived experience behind decisions, or the relationships that shape great work.
