A record year for WA tourism 👏

Visitors spent $19.2 billion in Western Australia in 2025, with 11 million overnight visitors and $6 billion spent across regional WA.

That’s great news for the State’s hospitality industry, with hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants playing a central role in the visitor economy.

The results also show the value of continued investment in attracting visitors, major events, conferences and business to WA, while ensuring regional communities share in the benefits.

It was great to welcome 14 participants to one of our rare face-to-face Approved Manager (MLP1) training courses this week, led by our own Chris Busch.

Becoming an Approved Manager is an important milestone for hospitality supervisors, duty managers and venue managers. It gives you the knowledge to meet WA's liquor licensing requirements and helps you build the skills needed to take on greater responsibility in a licensed venue.

Most of our Approved Manager training is available online, so you can complete it whenever it suits you.
