30 Years Later – Same Family, Same Photographer!
Back in 1995, I photographed the Wood family at their home, creating a series of three photographs that Peter and Colleen Wood had beautifully framed. Thirty years later, in 2025, we had the wonderful opportunity to do it all again — in the very same doorway, with the same family, and even the same photographer!
Peter and Colleen were delighted with the idea of recreating those original photographs, and I thoroughly enjoyed being part of another chapter in their family's story. The children have grown up, life has moved on, but the photographs bring those two moments together in a way that words simply can't. This is the sort of family photography I love most at Fisher Photography. Seeing families return after 20 or 30 years, and knowing that the photographs we created all those years ago still have a place in their homes, is enormously satisfying. And I hope we'll be doing plenty more of these Then & Now portraits in the years ahead!
