Shaping spaces with story at Royal Perth Hospital’s Research and Innovation Centre Precinct for .

We’re proud to share latest mural, which symbolises a beautiful fusion of science, culture and community.

The launch of the artwork was celebrated alongside minister , honouring the deep cultural history of the surrounding land.

The story behind the art:
🏜️ Boodja (land): the lower sections depict the songlines that hold traditional knowledge passed down through generations. The Whadjuk Nyungar People traditionally hunted and fished in the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River), using reeds for shelter and the rocks for traps.

🌳 Culture: the middle flows with the story of the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River), created by the Waagyl (Rainbow Serpent) shaping the waterways. It holds a deep spiritual connection for the Whadjuk Nyungar People because of the life it creates.

🔬 Innovation: symbols throughout the mural represent the foundation’s values, staff and the legacy of Nobel Prize Laureates Dr Robin Warren and Professor Barry Marshall.

Helping give West Aussie kids the best start to early learning!

We were grateful for the opportunity to support kids starting at WA’s free full-time kindy pilot schools by supplying these school bags.

Because our koolangka (children) deserve strong beginnings with community behind them.
