“Building something from scratch will humble you more than anything else you’ll ever experience, people will go elsewhere, people will doubt you, people who never tried will tell you exactly what you did wrong, but your brain will be the loudest critic of them all” But they’re all sitting in the seats, while you’re in the arena & that’s everything. Call me dramatic for building a whole photography program around ADHD, motherhood and real life.

most courses teach you how to run a business like you’ve got endless time and a “normal” brain and it does my fkn head in.

So I built the thing I needed, one that doesn’t fall apart the second a kid’s home sick or my focus isn’t on that day.

And my girls aren’t scrambling anymore when life happens. Which, let’s be honest, is always 😭🤣

If you’re already making around $8k/month as a photographer, “just book more clients” is probably the worst advice anyone can give you.

Because if the business is already held together with panic, caffeine, and 11pm editing stints, more clients will not magically make it better, It will just make it WORSE and then you will burn out. Trust me. It’s all very exciting to take on more clients to make more money, but it’s never until you actually do that, that you realise how much extra pressure it adds onto your plate if you don’t have the correct processes in place.

Sometimes scaling is literally just as easy as removing your lowest package, making your middle package the baseline & then adding a ridiculously bigger package. Still x3 packages, but you’re removing the “cheap” one and adding an expensive one, in return pulling people towards your middle package.. which used to be your top package. Hope that makes sense 🤣 if you want me to break down the way I teach package structure let me know ###
