Learn to fall in love with sales because sales is service.
For some reason I have this block around selling
Feeling guilty for taking money off people for a service or product I’m providing even though I know how good the product and service is and it is worth every dollar.

It come back to a conditioning I have been handed down that sales is icky, if you are a sales person you must be a crook, you rip people off, the conditioning mainly makes me think of a car salesmen. They certainly have a bad name and make sales sound bad. How silly

Sales is service!!!

I had a conversation with a beautiful lady (Sonya) on our bus tour in Japan. I was telling her how I struggle selling to people. She asked me these questions
1. Do you have a good product and/or service? I said ‘yes’
2. Do you believe in your product/service? I said ‘yes absolutely, it can help everyone’
3. Do you believe in the company? I said ‘yes absolutely especially since being here at the 50th anniversary’
4. Are you passionate about the business and products? I said ‘yes’
5. Are you passionate about helping people. I said ‘Yes’

She then said, ‘well I’m telling you this with love but you are being selfish, who are you to deny sharing this product, sharing how this product and company can help people, who are you to choose for them. Who are you to choose who to share it with! Share it with everyone and let them decide. If you truly see how this product and business opportunity can help people then get out of your own way and share it with everyone. Work on your money story because having a good money story is giving but also being open to receiving’

Wow how right she was, Thankyou Sonya 🙏 I didn’t want to be that person that talks about my business/products I love so much and have so much certainty that everyone needs one in their home for true health.
I’m not going to be a crazy person and constantly talk about it either but if I don’t share the amazing opportunities I have to offer then you don’t know what could change your health and the trajectory of your life. How it did mine.

I don’t want people to say in the future
‘Wow why didn’t you share this with me years ago?’

School holidays

I love school holidays, having all the kids home, no routine, no school drop offs n pick ups

Having fun,
Spending quality time together
Making memories

Being all together.
Following Glen to which ever farm he is working at,

Normally we are at home (Pickering Brook) while Glen is away working on the farms so school holidays are our time to be together as a family. We all love being and working on the farms.

This is why I will never Not be a stay at home mum, never Not be available for the kids commitments or to dash off to the farm when needed.

It feels at times like we live an opposite life to most, or maybe more like a fifo life but with way out irregular rosters.

Stay at home mum definitely has its pros and cons

More pros than cons though
as you can’t buy back time with your kids,

We lose a wage earner but I gain not missing anything in my kids lives.

In saying that I have found many ways to earn from home,

Life happens, everything happens for a reason and I believe hardship, although at the time feels unfair and unwarranted etc etc but it’s there For you, to guide you.
Look for the lessons, look for the signs as it’s guiding you to where you are meant to be. But I believe it takes a positive approach to see the way
As if you have a negative approach you will just fall into the poor me spiral hole

Sorry for the babble on but I really do love school holidays and love the realisation of how we are where we are and if we hadn’t have been in the position we were (the struggle) , I’d never have found or been looking for an alternative opportunity that would break us free from the norm.

Feeling So appreciative right now 🙏

☕ You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere. Why did you spill the coffee?

"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea. Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.

Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.

So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"

When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?
Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting-tendencies?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

My Gran always said ‘every day is special!’ so use them and if one chips or breaks I’m sure there’s a lovely story to go with. Memories 😁
