Instagram has been spoiling us with new updates and features recently!

Let's start with the good news... for anyone who does not enjoy creating Reels you can take a big sigh of relief as the head of Instagram has confirmed that reach for reels and photo posts has been balanced... so if you prefer making single photo posts or carousel photo posts... go for it!

And in other news...

- you can now schedule your Instagram posts directly on Instagram without needing to use a third party app 🥳

- You can also add multiple links in your bio where you could only previously have one.

- And finally, if you do like making Reels, you can now add "topics" to your creations... similar to hashtags, it will help your videos reach more of your ideal clients.

Keep them in mind this year as you get yourself ready for Christmas.

There are numerous ways you can show your support and here are just a few ideas...

🎄Maybe obvious... but see if you can buy at least some of your gifts from small local businesses this year.

🎁Feeding the family? Think about sourcing produce from local farmers markets or buying local artisan goods.

🦌Can't decide what to buy purchase gift cards from them.

🍾As you head out to do your shopping, why not stop in for a bite to eat at a local eatery.

🎅Spread the word... Consider leaving them a review online or show them some support on social media.

By doing some or all of these things you will certainly be making the Christmases of those small business owners a little merrier!!
