You may know of The Wayback Machine (https://archive.org).

A website museum of sorts, where you can type in a web address and if you're lucky can see a snapshot of that site in the past.

Like MySpace's homepage from 2004

BUT, did you know about https://archive.ph/ ??

This one actually lets you create a snapshot of a webpage on-demand, that you can then access later, even if the original website has been updated or taken down.

Why would you want to do this?
One example might be that you want to keep a record of a particular page as evidence if you suspect it may be changed in the near future and you need proof of what was on there.

Sure, you could take a screenshot, but they're not really any more reliable than a sundial at midnight.
