Instagramās quietly released a feature and kept it in the down lowš
I discovered it a few weeks ago and realised how cool this feature actually is.
If youāre making carousel posts (which you definitely should be)....
You can now add a different caption to every single slide!
Instead of trying to squeeze everything into one caption at the end, you can explain each slide as people swipe through. It almost feels like theyāre reading a little story of each image instead of flicking through a bunch of images.
You can tag people on individual slides now too, which opens up a few cool ideas.
Instagram hasnāt said itās going to change the algorithm, but one thing we do know is the more time people spend reading, swiping and interacting with your content, the better. If this gets people slowing down instead of flicking past, Iād say itās well worth adding into your content.
Iām definitely going to be testing it over the next few months, and I am sure we will see a rise in multiple caption use.
