Riverlee’s Penthouse 1801 at 1 Hotel & Homes Melbourne has officially hit the market.

The final penthouse in the building brings together generous living spaces, interiors designed with the feel of a private home, and views across Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay.

Its release marks the final residential chapter of a project Riverlee has spent more than four years bringing to life on Melbourne’s waterfront.

📷 Interiors by Tom Blachford, exterior by Peter Bennetts.

The newest addition to the Melbourne Recital Centre, the Peter & Ruth McMullin Beacon, has opened its doors for the first time. Bringing live music to the top of the Southbank location, the formerly unused part of the building has been designed by ARM Architecture to give new life to the area.

The Beacon brings together live music with dining, along with spectacular views across Melbourne. The inaugural program spans cabaret, jazz, contemporary music and First Nations artists.

Be sure to visit The Beacon for their first live performances from the 17th of September.

Bottega House’s move into Brisbane has landed in The Australian Financial Review, with the publication profiling co-director Craig Marsh and the developer’s first Brisbane project, St Lucia.

The feature comes as we begin working with Bottega House across communications, supporting the boutique Queensland developer as it grows its presence in Brisbane.

Set on the riverfront in St Lucia, the project brings together architecture by Plus Studio and interiors by Mim Design, with the AFR exploring the design thinking behind the development and Marsh’s longstanding interest in architecture.

We’re looking forward to sharing more from Bottega House and its growing portfolio.

With spring around the corner, event season isn’t far behind.

A look back at last spring’s Royal Oak Floors Australian Designer Luncheon, bringing together friends and familiar faces from across Melbourne’s design community.

Looking forward to more of this in the months ahead!

We’re back working with Abadeen, this time on Kilburn Mansion.

Designed by Kennon, the project brings a new residential chapter to a site with real architectural character, with each residence approached as an individual home rather than part of a conventional apartment collection.

There’s plenty to talk about across the design, history and people behind the project. We’re looking forward to sharing more as Kilburn Mansion comes to life.

As conversations around our cities continue to evolve, it's becoming increasingly clear that great places aren't shaped by buildings alone. They are the product of curiosity, collaboration and the people willing to challenge what's possible.

Reflecting on why people remain at the heart of city-making, Communications Collective Director Genevieve Brannigan explores how diverse perspectives are shaping stronger, more resilient communities in the latest article on our Collectivity Talks platform.
