What’s Going on in the Workshop:
As we are halfway through semester POSS wanted to give everyone an update about what our year levels have been up to!!

1st Years - Are in their first workshop rotations, making scarpers knives and learning essential lab skills! 🔨 🪚

2nd Years - Learning about high risk feet and total contact casts and the process of casting using each other as models. They have also started their unit on ankle foot orthotics and have begun to fabricate one in the workshop using each other as practice clients. 🦶

3rd Years - Started their transtibial prosthesis unit and have been working with clients to fabricate a hybrid definitive or check socket and prosthesis. 🦿

Exchange Program: As part of their exchange, our La Trobe P&O students are representing Australia in the Go Exchange Fair at Jönköping University (JU). They are giving advice to prospective swedish students all while offering iconic Aussie snacks (vegemite on toast and TimTams) 🇸🇪

4th Years - Have finished their first placement block and we wish the next rotation the best of luck in their first placement! 💼
