The Food Systems Report is part of an ongoing collaboration with Central Goldfields Shire Council and the Central Goldfields Food Network Working Group. It features the inspiring work of the (Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation), founded by Stephanie Alexander AO, and is proudly supported by the .government (Victorian State Government).
It highlights Inspirational Community Initiatives that aim to keep the people of Central Goldfields not only physically healthy but mentally connected as well.

Hi, I’m Nichole – graphic designer, founder of The Octopus Academy, wearer of octopus hats 🐙 and lover of curious thinking. I grew up in Gippsland, went to University in Melbourne, spent nearly a decade living overseas, and now call Darebin home with my two boys, partner and cat.

I’m into gardening, op-shopping, planning holidays, reading, and diving deep into all sorts of topics (psychology, effective epoxy floor surfacing, most effective worm farming – you name it). This snap is from a trip to Japan, where I fully embraced the octopus spirit.
