We’re seeking a Forklift Driver to join our avocado packhouse in Ravensbourne (near Toowoomba) for the season
Duties:
✔️ Loading & unloading avocado pallets & Nally Bins
✔️ Moving bins, pallets & packaging in the packhouse
✔️ Assisting with general packhouse operations
Requirements:
• Current LF forklift licence
• Packhouse or produce experience preferred (but not essential)
• Food & WHS Safety-focused & reliable
• Own transport recommended

• Seasonal work with regular hours

• Backpackers welcome (LF licence required)

Sunnyspot Farms is looking for a farm mechanic/ allrounder.
The role will be to look after servicing and maintenance of a range of farm and packhouse machinery.
These include Tractors, trucks, elevated work platforms, slashers, sprayers just to list a few.
A service vehicle will be provided but own tools would be preferred.
Ability to operate machinery is needed and a hc licence and forklift licence preferred.
Wage will be determined by qualification.

Yesterday Sunnyspot Farms Hosted an Indian delegation of buyers that was organised by Trade Investment Queensland TIQ and Avocados Australia.
This is on the back of last years access for Queensland Avocados and all of Australian Avocados regions access to India.
Having another new market to move volume is fantastic and much needed with such increased volumes and a domestic market struggling and making some funny decisions under the current market pressures.
We hope the delegation enjoyed our piece of paradise in Southern Qld and have a great trip in the other regions they are visiting.
