It's the big news story for the week, OpenAI announced a new “Instant Checkout” feature that enables users to buy items directly through ChatGPT.

From prompt > to product > to purchase all in one chat without leaving ChatGPT.

The pitch is fewer clicks, less friction, more conversions.

Still in its infancy, it's available to Etsy users in the US, although the plan is to roll this out across Shopify stores globally soon.

This latest toy has a clear end-goal for advertisers: total automation. It's another move to make businesses comfortable with Meta's AI controlling their campaigns. Five years of working together, countless emails and Zoom calls—but never an in-person meeting.

Thankfully, that changed last week when Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS) brought together GPs from across Australia for their registrar workshop in Darling Harbour.

We had lunch, did a little bit of work, but mainly just had a good chat.

As RVTS CEO Patrick Giddings put it, ‘it feels like catching up with old friends’.

For those unfamiliar, RVTS does essential work, supporting GPs as they complete their fellowship training while staying in regional and rural communities—ensuring quality healthcare where it’s needed most. We're very proud to support them in this mission.
