We are proud to have supported the Redland City Football Carnival, a fantastic community event that was made possible by the tireless efforts of local coaches who donated their time to organize it for the second consecutive year. The event featured a football tournament, penalty shootout, and nearest the pin competition, all of which contributed to a memorable experience for participants. We would like to extend our appreciation to all involved, including the players, coaches, and parents who helped make the day a success. The enthusiasm and camaraderie on display were truly inspiring, and we look forward to next year's event.

📈 TODAY THE REDLANDS REGIONAL JOBS COMMITTEE CAME TOGETHER FOR OUR QUARTERLY PLANNING MEETING

Today, Committee members reflected on the achievements, partnerships and outcomes delivered across the past quarter, while also brainstorming the initiatives and actions that will guide our work over the next three months.

Our focus remains clear: supporting successful employment outcomes for Redlands businesses and connecting Redlands people with jobs, training and career opportunities right here, right now, in our region.

Some highlights from the quarter included:

✅ Delivery of the Redlands Health & Care Workforce Symposium, bringing together industry, training providers and workforce stakeholders to address workforce challenges and opportunities.

✅ Ongoing growth of the FREE Redlands Coast Jobs Hub, helping local employers advertise vacancies, connect with talent and utilise innovative recruitment tools including AirCV and AI candidate matching.

✅ Progress across our industry-led Working Groups, including:
🔹 Health & Care
🔹 Construction & Trades
🔹 Hospitality & Tourism
🔹 Emerging Technologies & Industries

✅ Industry engagement activities, workforce surveys, employer networking opportunities and collaboration with schools, training providers, government and community organisations.

✅ Planning for upcoming sector-specific careers and jobs events in Automotive, Marine, Transport & Logistics and other emerging industries.

A huge thank you to our Committee members, Working Group Chairs and industry partners who generously contribute their time, expertise and leadership to help shape a stronger workforce and economy for the Redlands.
