Non gardener here, and i need a stake for my plant to grow on instead of our brick wall, so i thought i could make my own climbable stake for my plant.

So I did only take me like 6 months to sit down while the kids play outside with me doing my thing. It was so good.

Please note that the kids were outside at the time of the photo, just not on the inflatable on the swings behind and helping me get unhooked from the wire.

Wildlife

On our walk home from school I stopped to take a picture an admire these two Lorikeets in one of the big gum trees sitting side by side, it's nice to see them back after Magpie swooping season.

Help our family fundraise vital funds for The Royal Flying Doctors.

We all know or have had a love one need this care, I know we have had them in our immediate an extended families hours of need an i cant thank them enough for everyone that has helped my family an friends get to the help an services needed.

So why not get behind us an let's help save lives an most importantly keep the Flying Doctors in our skies an in our rural communities.

An I will keep you posted on our walks the challenge is set now time for this family ro get our walk on.

Star gazing

Well, Moon and star gazing, under the night sky while camping by the Thomson River Longreach.

My favourite time was night, where we all sat by the fire an in my case I looked up at the stars an watched the moon, stars and finding the planets in our skies with my star gazing app.

Our nights were blessed with a full moon to half a moon, an didn't she light the night. Man have I missed camping put under the stars and away from civilisation. Oh an I have to get better at taking photos both on my phone an camera, new hobby 🙃

I WON A BOAT!!

My new toy is home.

Can't believe I took out the top prize.

No I didn't catch the biggest fish or the smallest I only caught one an that didn't put me in the running for the boat, all adults that registered for the Longreach Yellowbelly Fishing comp were all in for a 1 in 463 chance an it just so happened to be ME 😁

3 days I have still been wrapping my head around this massive prize an I think im still in shock an disbelief that I was the winner a novice fisherman an a licenced boating with no boat or Jetski, now look at me I have a boat in my front yard😅.

A massive thank you to my husband and our mates that invited us out there with them, we all had a ball an so many good memories, an we all can't wait to get out there again in 2025..
