ACM outdoor signage designs for Marshall Batteries! Swipe ➡️

Big thanks to the Vice President, Abet, and the marketing and design team for allowing me to be a part of this very exciting project.

There are pivotal moments in each of our careers and this was hands down one of the most eye opening and challenging experiences to date.

Using strict branding guidelines and being guided by the creative director and a solid team, collectively, we managed to pull off a universal exterior design for the Marshall stores opening Australia wide 🇦🇺

L O G O D E S I G N for a Tattoo Studio, based in Carnegie, Melbourne 🔥🇦🇺

In this brief, a monogram and combination logo was to be created to communicate the elements which make up the studio’s name “2 Coins Tattoo.”
The real challenge was to communicate this in such detail to, one, reflect the tattoo industry and two, represent the artist’s line of intricately detailed work.

With a lot of back and forth communication with the head Artist, we managed to break down the name “2 Coins Tattoo” and come up with the following solutions:

1. The number 2 lettered, drawing inspiration from Modern Gothic Typefaces which is often used to depict tattoo parlours
2. Fengshui Fortune Coin drawn from the Chinese currency to reflect the Artist’s heritage
3. A Mirrored Needle Machine inspired by a combination of lettering, calligraphy, and machinery. This is the body and foundation of the design which ultimately reads tattoo.
