Stop thinking that discounting is the only way to get clients to say YES to working with you! 👇

The truth is, pricing is perception.

It’s not about stuffing your service or program full of value that the price is worth it (you’re already doing that, so you know that’s not the problem)…

It’s creating a content ecosystem that makes your audience feel so SEEN that they HAVE to work with you!

Not a… “I’ll think about it” or “when the time is right”

It’s a full body yes!

HERE is what to do instead👇

Growing your business on social media requires a different set strategies than being an influencer or personal brand.

And social media changes fast, so don’t get stuck with outdated strategies that no longer work!

1️⃣ Swap educational content with mirror content. This type of content is where your audience creeps seen and validated through your content. This is one of the most powerful forms of marketing right now.

2️⃣ Swap 7 second Reels with longer form content that builds trust. That can be a talking camera video (like this), a process video that showcases what you do differently or a journey videos that showcases how you got to where you are. Recently our clients have been getting 100K - 1M views using this strategy

3️⃣ Swap obsessing over hashtags with a hashtag set that covers all bases. Get your location tags, niche tags and audience tags and then reuse that same list for your content. It doesn’t need to change every time.

4️⃣ Swap crying on vulnerable Reels to sharing true vulnerability. I’m talking about content that shares your mistakes, in the moment video of you realising you hit a milestone, sharing your journey. That’s true vulnerability - and it doesn’t always need to come from pain.

5️⃣ Swap posting 3x a day to 3-4 times a week. You can’t out-post bad quality content. It doesn’t need to be professional, but the content needs to be clear, have good lighting and a purpose!

You’re not broken if you’re content takes you longer than 7 minutes to create! 👇👇

I heard a founder say “my content takes 7 minutes to create and it goes out”

Yeah, 7 minutes to record… but what they aren’t telling you is the marketing team who handle their creative direction, research, planning, editing, caption writing and posting.

It’s a whole production.

And all up, takes longer than 7 minutes.

But you’re not told the whole story.

“Easy” posts like this one of me talking - where it’s a recording of me speaking at my event and all I had to do was find the right part of the clip, edit it down, add CC captions, brainstorm the right hook and write caption…

Took 15 minutes.

So if your content takes you 30 minutes… that’s NORMAL.

You’re not broken.

And remember, don’t compare your situation to others. Because you don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes.

But, if your content is taking you longer than an hour, then that tells me 3 things:

1️⃣ Don’t scroll before creating content. Look at what your target audience is experiencing, feeling and struggling with - and create content to serve that.

2️⃣ You’re overthinking. Remember, progress over perfection. It’s better to have the post out than not at all.

3️⃣ It’s time to have more self belief in your abilities!!! You’re great at what you do, now let that shine in your content!

It’s usually the brilliant women in their niche that struggle with this the most! 👇👇

Content that doesn’t convert into sales.

Engagement that isn’t where it’s supposed to be.

Launches not going how they used to.

Why?

Because you’re so good at what you do, that you’re speaking to the problems and solutions that your clients don’t even know they have yet! 🤦‍♀️

Think about this analogy:

If your stomach hurts, you would say:

“My stomach is feeling off”

“I have pain on my right side”

You don’t say:

“I have Pancreatitis” if you haven’t been diagnosed by a doctor yet.

Right now, you’re creating content from a place where you’re assuming your audience knows what their problem is.

But they don’t.

So instead, speak to their symptoms.

Speak to what they are experiencing. Eg. The pain in the stomach🔥🔥

Because when you do, you begin speaking your audience’s language AND THEN you can educate them on the problem and that’s when they’ll seek support from you.

The moral:

Your audience needs to be SEEN first.

Then you educate them on what their problem is.

Then, they come to you and want to buy your solution!
