Last week Australia implemented a world first social media delay that prevents under 16s from being on social media. We were proud to work with to help amplify their voice and share information around the delay, including this front page piece with 🩵

The Metro Tunnel is OPEN! 🚇✨

We’re so proud that Upstride was part of the Metro Tunnel creative program, working on an AR installation at Federation Square, and also another event.

This project was a huge milestone for Upstride founder Jane personally – it was her first project back from parental leave with a small, breastfeeding baby. We almost said no, but the team at CPB contractors, led by convinced us they were truly baby-friendly.

And they were. They scheduled meetings thoughtfully and provided fantastic breastfeeding facilities. This support was a game-changer. At the time, I’d even had to change Upstride’s own workspace as it wasn’t set up for a breastfeeding mum. Yet I could bring my baby to a major construction office in Melbourne’s CBD, no problem at all.

This project proved that with true flexibility, mums can thrive professionally. A huge shoutout and thank you to the team – it made all the difference for our business and my growing family.

Today is Alannah & Madeline Day! 💜

We are so grateful to have worked with the Alannah & Madeline Foundation for this year’s Alannah & Madeline Day - and help them secure some great media opportunities ! 🤩

This year the Foundation is aiming to raise $350,000 to provide a Buddy Bag to every child across Australia who is escaping violence. The Buddy Bags contain essential items and a specially chosen teddy bear, providing comfort and care in these children’s darkest moments 🧸❤️‍🩹

We’ve worked on some truly incredible stories, and we’re so grateful to be able to talk to amazing people and bring their experiences to light 💜

Support workers change lives ♥️

That’s why we’re thrilled to have helped promote the launch of What’s My Future?—Australia’s first support worker recruitment campaign designed by people with disability. This initiative by the National Workforce Collaboration is a major step in tackling the critical shortage of support workers.

Ministers, industry leaders, and Paralympian World Champion Jocelyn Neumueller showed their support at the press event in Adelaide 💪🏄‍♀️, and we were proud to see the campaign gain traction on radio and SBS! 📺

We’re incredibly proud to see our client nominated for a prestigious Banksia Foundation Award! 👏

The One, Two, Tree campaign is a finalist in the Marketing and Communications for Impact Award category. 🏆

Upstride worked with Moonee Valley City Council and a collective of nine councils to educate communities on building healthier, greener neighborhoods. 🌿

Thank you WIN News for covering an incredible program that will change the lives of rural parents across Australia.

We worked with Rural Health Connect to promote the launch of their new telehealth psychologist program for mums who have experienced miscarriage or stillbirth. 🤍

Young mums, regional mums, CALD mums and Indigenous mums all experience greater barriers to support in the face of devastating loss.

The program has been federally funded for four years, and women anywhere in Australia can now access bulk-billed or low-cost telehealth sessions from psychologists trained in providing culturally safe care.
