Together with our clients and collaborators, we make brands stand out. Bespoke, modern, timeless, clever and unique are words that in part, form our design ethos. We don’t only seek to create a graphic but consider all our design executions to be holistically experiential. We don’t simply create pretty pictures — touch and feel are just as important. We consider materials, textures and finishes to

be integral to successful design. Transparency, and hard work are not dirty words, nothing that is simply extraordinary can be produced without them. Cobb Lane is an artisan bakery that create and curate more than just delicious pastries, cakes and bread; they craft moments to savour, moments of surprise and moments that punctuate whatever you’re doing, even if it is just for a moment.

We wanted to build a visual and verbal identity that not only reflected the quality of the product but also incorporated enjoyable and engaging moments that customers could discover through their interactions with the brand. Whilst the core brand maintains a level of sophistication, consistent with a premium product, the visual identity features quirky illustrations and tongue-in-cheek real world moments tailored to an audience that doesn’t take themselves or their dietary choices too seriously.

Cobb Lane is an artisan bakery that create and curate more than just delicious pastries, cakes and bread; they craft moments to savour, moments of surprise and moments that punctuate whatever you’re doing, even if it is just a moment.

Activision Blizzard / Sledgehammer Games by Studio Tate - a colourful, playful office space in Melbourne caters to the needs of gaming designers.

We were tasked with designing the wayfinding signage for Activision Blizzard’s new Melbourne office spanning two floors at Market Lane, 68 Clarke Street, Southbank. Our focus was on imbuing the space with bespoke signage that embodies a playful and vibrant aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the SHG brand and gaming aesthetics of the ‘80s.

NEW YEAR, BIG NEWS – HUGE PROJECT LAUNCH.

Excited to share a sneak-peek of one of our studios most exciting projects to date. LuckyChap are a Production/Entertainment company based out of the US with superstardom at their core - headed by (Producer) Josey McNamara, (Producer and Actor) Margot Robbie & (Producer) Tom Ackerley. You may be aware of some of their latest Titles, including one of the biggest movies of 2023 - BARBIE and the phenomenal Saltburn.

Pop & Pac have been working directly with the partners since 2022, establishing a brand centred on a clear focus; the talent that enters the LuckyChap creative universe. From incredible writers, film makers, directors, actors; anyone whose extraordinary talents help make a remarkable production – LuckyChap celebrates them.

Hence the logo was designed to provide focus on the ‘U’ - the individual (you). The logo reflects the brand’s purpose, to celebrate extraordinary talent, not just those typically in the spotlight. For the astute, the U is also an LC monogram (LuckyChap). The script in this case is also a connection back to the original neon logo, a nod to where it all began.

Pinks, burgundies, purples all reflect the personality of the people and the partners.

As the brand roles out, we’ll reveal more of the project beyond just the logo visuals shown here.

At this juncture, we’d like to extend a huge thank you to Margot, Tom, Josey and the rest of the LC team for their continued passion, collaboration and trust in us in bringing their brand to life.

Wayfinding and signage design for St Michael’s Grammar School

Notes: The St Michael’s story is one of adventure, journey, and the pioneering spirit. While it retains a proud and storied heritage, St Michael’s is a school looking forward to the future, providing guidance, education, and inspiration for the next generation of global citizens.

The signage guides us on both a literal path through the physical parameters of the school and a figurative path, through the K-12 experience and beyond – the journey of life.

With imagery borrowed from the natural world, we explore the concept of the child as a seedling, the school as a garden that protects and supports. As the seedling blossoms into a healthy plant, it sprouts leaves, buds, even flowers, each new development nurtured and encouraged by different elements. The plant is enriched by its living environment (community, diversity) and in turn, enriches the earth and other plants around it – the circle of life. There are no limits to how high the plant might grow, but its roots will always have a home in the garden.

Our wayfinding strategy uses a circular system of growth. Radiating out from central points within the school are rings that represent the school’s broad community. As these ripples spread outwards and grow from multiple points they intersect. The curved intersections that occur are representative of interactions, conversation, and growth.

These curved intersections define the form of the signs.
