The 2026 Educate Plus Building Futures International Conference was everything we hoped for and more.

Four dynamic days of connection, learning, exploration and celebration, showcasing the expertise, innovation and incredible work taking place across schools throughout Australia and New Zealand. Bringing it all together was Educate Plus, renowned for fostering an inclusive and supportive professional community.

A major highlight for our team was attending the 2026 Excellence Awards Presentation, where an incredible seven OBH clients were recognised as finalists across six categories. It was especially exciting to celebrate Strathcona Girls Grammar, who took out the award for Publications (All Streams) with their Strategic Plan. While we were not involved in producing this particular piece, sharing in their achievement and celebrating their success was a truly memorable moment.

Congratulations to all finalists, and especially to our clients whose outstanding work deserves recognition: Pembroke School, Prince Alfred College, Brigidine College St Ives, MLC School Sydney, Pedare Christian College and Strathcona Girls Grammar.

This week, our Production Manager, Jim Nickolas, took the opportunity to head interstate to the Fine Food Australia National Expo in Melbourne.
The ultimate industry showcase, Fine Food Australia is the nation's leading trade event for the food industry.
Armed with a good pair of walking shoes and his wealth of print knowledge, Jim toured more than 900 exhibitors alongside 25,000 visitors, reconnecting with many of OBH's South Australian and Victorian food and beverage clients.
Highlights throughout the week included live masterclasses, tailored presentations, guided tours, workshops, awards, and cooking challenges, just some of the many events taking place across the expo.
Jim met with food service and hospitality professionals who had gathered to discover the products, suppliers, and ideas that help move their businesses forward. He explored new products, met innovators, compared solutions, and listened to client needs to gain insights into what businesses are looking for in the year ahead.

Recently, the OBH Print team had the pleasure of attending the Adelaide University Wine Label Launch, celebrating the release of the new vintage featuring refreshed labels created to reflect the University’s recent merger.
The evening showcased the passion and expertise behind the University’s wine program, with Professor Paul Grbin sharing how proceeds from every bottle sold are
reinvested into wine education and research at the Waite Campus’s School of Agriculture.
Guests enjoyed tasting the new range before joining an insightful tour of the winery and distillery, led by Jill Bauer, who shared the craftsmanship and innovation behind the University’s wine and spirits production.
OBH Print is proud to partner with Adelaide University on the production of their premium wine labels and we’re excited to continue supporting the team as they prepare to launch their upcoming spirit’s range.
