The Dog and Cat Management Board of South Australia is the government body responsible for overseeing the registration and management of dog and cat ownership in the state. As a government body, they have an official government logo - but they approached us to refresh the public facing side of their brand.

The brief was to make it fun, friendly and approachable - and most importantly, no more accidental gendering with 'blue for dogs' and 'pink for cats'!

Our focus in developing this brand was to develop a really strong and robust design system that could easily be rolled out by anyone. So we developed a comprehensive style guide that lays out the steps to achieving brand consistency - no matter the deliverable.

No, it’s not a Photoshop mockup!

Designing this shared zone pavement artwork for Flinders University has been an unexpected highlight this winter! Located between the Biodiscovery and Biodiversity buildings at the Bedford Park campus, the artwork takes inspiration from the many amazing creatures in Australia studied at the uni. Spot the Port Jackson sharks, blue wrens, and rainbow lorikeets. We loved making this car park an exciting activated space!

As a long-term and comprehensive branding project that has been under wraps until now, we are thrilled to see the InHealth Medical brand officially launched!

It’s been fantastic to see this brand come to life in stages over the months and Mango Chutney was honoured to attend the opening celebration of the new West Lakes practice in June.

The brand embraced the interior design direction and the vision to create a practice that feels inviting, relaxed, and elevates how a medical centre can be presented. Well done to the team at InHealth Medical for creating such a wonderful space - and for letting us be a part of that journey!

Mango Chutney was super chuffed to once again work with the amazing team at FUSA Flinders University: creating a brand for Orientation 2022, designed to be inviting yet quirky, with bucket loads of personality! Illustrating a poster suite with animals in hats? We loved creating these characters! 😻

The fantastical, textured imagery was balanced with a tight colour palette and a sweet, robust typeface, to keep things balanced and informative while still exuding the anticipation of the new uni year.

A big thank you and heartfelt shout out to the hardworking team at FUSA who not only trust us with their amazing briefs, but are the ones with the dedication and sweat turning this virtual campaign into reality on site. It’s fantastic to see the brand installed, and FUSA are awesome at going the extra mile to make specky collateral on campus.

Everyone loves a free sticker! Thrilled to see these little guys pop up everywhere!

The cast of characters were crafted to reflect the themes of each week. Taking inspiration from the animal kingdom, we endeavoured to reflect curiosity, camaraderie, chillness or cheekiness. They will return for Semester 2!

Mango Chutney was honoured to be engaged by the Leukaemia Foundation to develop and launch the revitalised iteration of their marketing website and fundraising platform for the World's Greatest Shave.

We paired a sophisticated, purpose-driven digital experience with a vibrant and playful high-impact design – helping to push the entrancing retrowave vibe of the campaign identity to the limits.

Our team is especially proud of the comprehensively planned, user-driven experience. Key highlights include the shaving location map, which has helped build an even stronger sense of community and connectedness, as well as the sleek and accessible profile and donation pages.

As one of Australia's most beloved and recognised charity events, we are proud of being able to contribute in some way to such a great cause, helping the Leukaemia Foundation conquer blood cancer.
