STRATHALBYN FEATURE SALE – 7 AUGUST 2026

A total yarding of 751 head came forward at Friday’s Strathalbyn Feature Sale, with Nutrien presenting 470 head.

Strong competition was seen across the feature sale, particularly for lighter steers, which produced excellent results.

Steers averaged:

0–200kg: 614.8c/kg
200–280kg: 618.9c/kg
280–330kg: 567.1c/kg
330–400kg: 546.6c/kg
400–500kg: 518.4c/kg
Heifers averaged:

0–200kg: 547.3c/kg
200–280kg: 515.2c/kg
280–330kg: 487.5c/kg
330–400kg: 474.7c/kg
400–500kg: 466.4c/kg
A pleasing sale result overall, with quality young cattle well supported by buyers.
