Our perspective is like looking through a window
-
-
The further back you are the limited you see, the less you can identify sections of the wings.
-
The more pixelated the clouds look and the glare becomes too bright in contrast to the cabin wall
-
-
But….
-
When we lean in. Press our gorgeous faces against the glass we see so much more. We see a view that we didn’t get to fully grasp from the aisle seat.
-
-
Why don’t we all get a window seat and see how fricken beautiful the world is. In all its smoosh goodness.

The ability to step from a situation, detach from the POV of the chaos of whatever world your living in. Requires the ability to self regulate, remain composed and step back. Don’t go any further in any situation without analysing it and assessing the level of focus and attention needed. Once you do that, go all in. Viciously that task, goal - item. Idc what it is, but don’t ever over commit you can’t smile at the person letting you walk past the crossing. Let’s normalise that dichotomy of ambition and peace.

Stop giving a sh what others say
-
-
Introspectively, mentally, spiritually and physically - keep being kind to yourself.
-
-
Be patient but have the tenacity to have higher expectations for yourself. Walk that tightrope of patience and ambition.
-
-
Lean into yourself, because if not you - who will? Good things will naturally start happening.

Lightweight baby ✈️

I’m not illuminating some hidden gem here, but you want to travel as light as possible when travelling. No one likes the person in-front at security with more chains then snoop Dogg

What I bring?
1. Water bottle ( you may need to scull it over the allowed amount) 💦
2. Phone ( that’s a given)
3. Wireless phone charger ( filming drains the f out of your battery and no cords 🤙🏽)
4. Timepiece : preferably analogue incase your phone dies and - if you don’t have one… get one.
5. Sunnies ( sleeping on the plane is unattractive and this allows you to look like a smooth criminal 😴
6. Wired headphones ( I did use AirPods but, the reliability on cords is 💯)
7. A book ( Use the air miles to learn and get off your phone!)

Being nimble saves time and honestly it’s easier to remember these 7 things and to pack them the night before. Peace ✌🏽

Choose the bright side 🤙🏽

Now before I get a Fedex truck worth of messages telling me to keep things realistic, let me explain.

When I say choose the bright side, and lean more on the positives. This doesn’t mean don’t be rational, forward thinking and situational aware about your life choices.

No, I mean - if you have a choice to complain about something or shrug it off and see the positive in it - you are training a very delicate and very worthwhile muscle!

In a culture that perpetuates fear and constant news evoking anxiety, looking up and thumping your chest to the fact you get to live in this day and age?

I ate at least 3 s**t sandwiches this week but I also got to choose to enjoy this view, hold my kids a little tighter, break bread with good people and move the needle on my profession and entrepreneurial drive.

So next time you get confronted with a s**t Sandwich disguised as a Big Mac, chin up grin and lean into bright-side of the situation.
