I started my graphic design career while pregnant with my third child, driven by my desire to be present for my kids while pursuing a fulfilling career. Back then, my business was called Three Colour Design, named after my three lil peeps, and that name still holds a special place in my heart today.

Prior to diving into graphic design, I had experience as a qualified makeup artist (pre-TikTok days🦖), a trained photographer, and even a hefty stint in retail management. Throughout my journey, I've always been fascinated by marketing, advertising, and the way we present ourselves in the service industry.

It was during this time that I discovered the paramount importance of having a strong brand. A well-crafted brand not only commands respect but also instills confidence in the value we provide. I had the opportunity to work with various businesses, ranging from fitness centers and wellness providers to cafes, makeup artists, and even pest control companies. Timing isn't always perfect when refining your brand. ⏰

As a young business, I felt the need for small adjustments. You may have noticed the evolving colours in my previous posts. Now, I'm excited to unveil Neapolitan VA's new colour palette. Get ready for a fresh look and a heightened level of excitement!

My previous colour scheme had a muted coral and light teal tone. While I still embrace a retro vibe inspired by the 1950s, I also enjoy exploring vibrant and fun designs. Despite the vibrancy of my branding, I like to experiment with minimalist and bold styles.

The decision to revise Neapolitan VA's colour scheme was driven by several factors.
- Firstly, I aimed to align my business' visual identity with evolving industry trends while maintaining a timeless appeal.
- Secondly, I sought to improve the visibility and legibility of the Neapolitan VA logo across platforms.
- Lastly, I wanted to infuse my brand with a fresh energy that reflects growth, boldness and forward-thinking mindset (with a nod to the 1950s 😜).

Feature Colours:
- Blue ( ): This sparkling blue represents clarity and uplifting calmness, like a breath of fresh air on a warm summer day.
- Pink ( ): Undoubtedly, this vibrant hue is our strawberry shade. It exudes positivity, sweetness, and a youthful spirit, perfectly capturing the approach I like to take towards collaborations... plus its the exact colour when you open up a tub of Neapolitan ice cream. 🍨
- Brown ( #522605): Combining the richness of dark chocolate and well-brewed coffee, this color adds contrast and timeless elegance.
- Taupe ( ): Serving as the foundational tone, this soft taupe creates a comforting and grounding effect, akin to a gentle hug.
