🥂 Here’s to all the designers and freelances that are continually reading new books, researching and keeping up with trends, completing courses, learning new skills, and doing software tutorials to better themselves and provide their clients with the best service possible!

✨Remember, you’re not just paying a designer to create a logo, or design a brochure. You’re paying for all their knowledge and practice (and so much more behind the scenes) leading up to now. It’s not just talent! ✨

One thing I have taught myself is 2D animation. I watch tutorials on YouTube on how to animate in Adobe After Effects and I now provide logo animation as a service to my clients!

We took a short break from social media (manly because I didn’t have time to create posts for Instagram, let alone plan and schedule posts 😅) but now we are back! 💥

We had a super busy month of May in our business life and personal life.

Biz wise:
✔️ Finished some big branding projects
✔️ Logo animations
✔️ Got ready for tax time, we’ve started a relationship with an amazing accountant!
✔️ Getting portfolio work ready for our website

Personal life:
💛 Celebrated my partner and I’s 5th anniversary
🏕 Spent time with Family and Friends having dinners and camping trips!
🍼 My sister in laws baby shower (so excited!)
🍻 Went to a beer and cider festival (I don’t even like beer) 😂

I can’t believe it is June tomorrow, winter has definitely begun to creep in the past week 🥶

Here are 4 easy green ideas you can incorporate into your business to take care of our earth:

When a client is shopping for a product or service they’re going to make their decision based on 1 or maybe 2 of these things.

⋒ Price - Client chooses you because you are cheaper than your competitors
⋒ Quality - Client chooses you because you produce better quality work than your competitors
⋒ Convenience - Client chooses you because they have a deadline you can meet that your competitors can’t
⋒ Relationship - client chooses you because you have a relationship with them and they want you to benefit
⋒ Reputation - client chooses you because you have a good reputation in their industry or within the creative industry like publishing books or winning awards
