SEPTEMBER // BSSC

On the tools 🥁 and one for the books this month; jam-packed with festivals, a tour run with Melbourne Ska Orchestra and more!

Anyone who says ‘do what you love and you never work a day in your life’ clearly hasn’t toured interstate with a 20+ piece band, but there’s nothing as good as seeing it all come together night after night!

Big love to Wally and Nicky for entrusting Phil and The Blanks with getting the party started for their super-ska Posse across SEQ - it’s been great working on this tour from both sides and seeing the fruits of labour 💪

Onto the next!

Exciting to be a part of this awesome event!

Thanks to our friends at Kwik Kopy for the incredible printing on our posters and flyers! You will see them out all around the coast as the count down for Gossy Weekender is on. 🎉

We still have some posters, flyers, vinyl banners and A1 corflutes in our Gosford office. If you have a shop, cafe or a fence on a busy road and would like to display some material for us, please inbox us and we can get some to you. We would love that!

As a non-profit, free community event we need all the help we can with community helping spread the word! 🙏

Your songs won’t break up the band, but this might…

When you take a macro view of history, all the big bands known for going to court and splitting up are doing so from a lack of planning and communication regarding royalties, back end business things and a multitude of internal politics.

So if you’re serious, and I mean really serious, about making this music thing a reality, DO sweat the small stuff - while it’s small stuff - to protect future you and allow you and your band to grow as a unit 🔥
