Let’s revisit one of the city-shaping transport projects we helped visualise: the CBD and South East Light Rail.
Before passenger services began operating across the L2 Randwick Line and L3 Kingsford Line, Arterra Interactive created animation and CGI to help communicate the vision behind this 12km network — connecting Circular Quay, George Street, Central Station, Surry Hills, Moore Park, Randwick, Kensington and Kingsford.
For major infrastructure projects, visualisation plays a critical role long before the first passenger steps on board. It helps stakeholders understand scale, alignment, public realm impact, transport connectivity and the future experience of a place.
Today, the Sydney CBD and South East Light Rail continues to support movement across one of Australia’s busiest urban corridors — and with new conversations emerging around its future extension, the project is a reminder of how powerful visual storytelling can be in shaping public understanding of infrastructure.
At Arterra Interactive, we help bring future cities, transport networks and public spaces into view before they are built.
