My name is Mitchell, I am a proud local in the Swan Hill Region, based in north-west Victoria, Australia. I am passionate about all things involved in producing high quality video content and officially launched this business in early 2017. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Film & Television (Honours) with an advanced minor in visual effects, which were completed at Swinburne University of T

echnology in Melbourne, Australia. Mitchell Barkman Videography has grown rapidly over the years to become the boutique video production service it is today. Working with many brands across multiple industries, I am very passionate about bringing brands to life and working with people to accomplish goals. I’m getting in early with this post!

As the year draws to a close, I want to thank all the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of working with. It’s been another big year of growth — retiring from weddings, taking on new and interesting projects far and wide, and working on some meaningful local work. I’m always grateful for the opportunity to support businesses with their marketing and video production needs.

I also wanted to give a quick update about capacity for 2026. MBV will have limited availability next year: I won’t be taking on new clients until May 2026, and will only be accepting a small number of projects from existing clients.

I’m working tirelessly to complete existing projects and will be in touch with those patient clients as soon as I can.

Wishing the community a Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year. ❤
