So when I embarked on the journey to make the website, I learned a few things after meeting some old school riggers who I like to refer to as the 'Originals' or 'OG's'.
They may not be the founding fathers of Australian Skydiving, however they have been around since the ages and they are the reason that your rigs stay airworthy. They have taught me a great deal and now what I will call 'The Series', is going to be my way of sharing the important topics and information straight from the riggers mouth!
The first in the series is an introduction into why I started the website, the state of development, what's in the works and a couple of top tips for new comers and seasons jumpers.
The upcoming series interviews will start with some riggers around Australia who want to share their challenges from a rigger's perspective, the divide between the APF and Australian riggers, why they believe there should be a huge amount of importance placed on speaking to a rigger when buying gear and the importance of having it checked regularly.
Future instalments of the series will include interviews with other greats in the sport as I cross paths with them and the journey of a newcomer and finding your first rig.
