I'm super proud of this one. This logo is part of a brand package I put together for - an amazing business in Sydney who renovate houses and also train (and then employ) women to be tradies.

I first heard of them when I went to see podcast on stage, and there was a call out from the host Deborah Frances-White to help out Women Trade Up - all done via on-stage banter with the audience.

A very memorable night, and I ended up meeting Simone (one of the founders of WTU) and worked with their team to create new branding which they love.

Thanks to Rachel O'Connell for animating this for us. I love it!

Take a look at how I improved this business card design...
The first example is off-centre and busy. I took away the pattern and centred the logo so that it’s the focal point.

For the back, I made the icons more consistent in size/colour, removed some text and increased the lettermark ‘A’ on the bottom right. This makes the text easier to read and the composition more balanced.
