Solving complex design challenges takes more than just skill, it takes synergy between the studio and the client.

At Jaja studio, we had the pleasure of working alongside Sam Chan and GoodHuman team to tackle complex design problems for their web app. The collaboration wasn’t just about finding solutions, it was about pushing boundaries, overcoming technical limitations, and crafting experiences that truly serve users.

The partnership between our teams was built on mutual trust, creativity, and a shared drive for excellence. As Sam Chan put it:

Slyp, a company aiming to eliminate paper receipts, entrusted us with the task of designing their brand identity during their early stage in 2018.

The logo represents a curled receipt that resembles the symbol of infinity and also forms the letter S. Its design is characterised by simplicity, welcoming aesthetics, and a dynamic feel.

In order to give it a distinctive touch, we incorporated a 45° leftward tilt in the symbols of the letters L and P within the Slyp logo. This tilt achieves a perfect balance between the left and right parts of the logo, reminiscent of a corner of a receipt.

In addition, we worked on the brandguide that helped the team the kickstart the project and be consistent across all experiences.

Since then, Slyp has successfully raised over $30 million in funding, further establishing their presence and mission in the market.
