You opened Instagram to post something.

Then 45 minutes later, you’ve watched someone with perfect lighting, someone launching a new offer, and someone else who seems to have completely figured it all out…

And suddenly, you don’t feel like posting anymore.

Sound familiar? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Social media makes it so easy to compare your beginning, middle, or messy season to someone else’s polished highlight reel.

But usually, you are seeing people who have been doing this for much longer than you realise.

Your business does not need to look like theirs.
Your strategy does not need to look like theirs.
And your timeline definitely does not need to look like theirs.

What if you only had to properly think about social media once a month? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Not every day.
Not every second night when you realise you haven’t posted.
Not in between clients while trying to quickly throw something together.

Just one dedicated batching session each month.
This is exactly why I’m such a big fan of content batching for practitioners.
Because socials usually feel overwhelming when they’re constantly sitting in the back of your mind.

A post here.
A caption there.
A last-minute story when you remember.

It’s not the content itself that feels hard half the time… it’s the constant mental load of it.

Batching helps take that away.
A simple monthly batching session could look like this:

〰️ 30 mins: brainstorm post ideas
Use your client FAQs, common conversations in clinic, seasonal topics, or the content pillars you always come back to.
〰️ 60 mins: write your captions
This is so much easier when you do it in one go because you stay in the same headspace.
〰️ 30 mins: create your graphics or film a few simple videos
Nothing fancy. Just enough to support the message.
〰️ 15 mins: schedule it all out
Done and off your plate.

That’s under 2.5 hours for a whole month of content.
And no, it doesn’t need to be perfect.
It just needs to be planned.

When you batch your content, you’re far more likely to stay consistent without socials taking over your week.
For busy practitioners, that matters.

You do not need to be creating content from scratch every few days.
You just need a system that makes showing up feel easier.

Save this as your reminder that content can feel simpler than you think 🤍

If April content has been feeling a bit “what do I even post?”… this is for you 👀

Sometimes content feels hard, not because you’re bad at it, but because you’re trying to come up with everything from scratch.

Your content pillars should still be the foundation.

But using a seasonal lens like this can make planning so much easier and help you decide how to angle your content this month.

Think:
〰️ Autumn immune support
〰️ Simple nourishing recipes
〰️ Sleep support with daylight savings ending
〰️ Easter content
〰️ Clinic behind the scenes
〰️ Seasonal produce
〰️ Myth busting posts
〰️ Simple lifestyle education

This isn’t about throwing your strategy out the window for seasonal content.

It’s about using what’s already relevant in April to support the pillars you already post about, so your content feels timely, helpful, and easier to create.
You do not need to reinvent the wheel every month.

You just need content that feels relevant, useful, and realistic for your audience right now.

Save this as your April content prompt list for when you need a little direction this month 🤍

For a while, I honestly thought my Naturopathy degree was a waste…

I studied naturopathy for nearly 5 years, built up a huge HECS debt, and then found myself not even working in clinical practice.

There were definitely moments where I felt like I’d failed… like all that time, energy and study had led me nowhere.

But over time, I’ve realised that wasn’t true at all.

That degree shaped so much of who I am. It taught me how to think differently, communicate better, support people, and deeply understand the industry I now get to work alongside in a completely different way 🫶🏼

And even though my path hasn’t looked the way I thought it would, it’s still led me somewhere that feels really aligned.

Now I get to support other natural health practitioners using the knowledge I’ve gained, just in a different capacity than I originally imagined 🥹

I think there can be so much pressure to follow the “expected” path and feel like you’ve somehow failed if things don’t look how you planned.

But the truth is, there is no one right way.

Sometimes the path makes sense later.
Sometimes the thing you thought was a detour ends up being exactly what you needed.

And for now, I really do feel like I’ve found my happy place 🤍

If you’re studying naturopathy, remember clinical practice isn’t the only path (this is something I wish I was told at uni).

Sometimes when socials feel hard, it’s not because you need to do more ⬇️

It’s because the foundations aren’t working for you 😢

I see so many practitioners putting pressure on themselves to post more, be everywhere, and somehow make it all look effortless…
when really, a few simple fixes can make everything feel so much clearer.

1️⃣A clear bio.
2️⃣One clear call to action.
3️⃣Pinned posts that actually introduce you properly.
4️⃣Content pillars to keep you focused.
5️⃣A posting rhythm you can realistically stick to.
6️⃣And repurposing before creating from scratch every time.

It doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective.

Sometimes the most helpful thing you can do is strip it back, simplify, and make your socials easier to manage.

Because consistency usually comes from clarity, not pressure.

If your socials have been feeling messy, overwhelming or a bit all over the place lately… this is your sign to come back to the basics 🤍

Who’s guilty of overcomplicating socials? I know I definitely can be sometimes, especially when I start overthinking a post 🙋🏼‍♀️

A little reminder that social media should support your business…not take over your life 🫶🏼

You do not need to be posting 24/7, keeping up with every trend, or overthinking every caption for your content to work.

It should help your business grow, build trust, and make things feel simpler, not more draining.

That’s exactly what I’m all about over here 🤍

The Natural Social is growing and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Kasey to the team 🫶🏼

She’ll be supporting me with content creation, scheduling, and behind-the-scenes magic, so everything runs even more smoothly for you and all of our amazing clients.

You’ll see her popping up in your workflows from time to time 👏🏼

“Hi, I’m Kasey, the new friendly face joining The Natural Social 👋🏼

We thought it would be nice to properly introduce myself so we can go straight from strangers to friends.

I’m currently halfway through my Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and I’m deeply passionate about all things health, with a strong clinical focus and an eagerness to keep learning.
Creatively, I love photography, film and art, and before starting my degree I worked in the floristry industry for several years.

Outside of study and work, you’ll find me cooking, getting outdoors, moving my body, and on a good morning walk with a coffee in hand (after breakfast, of course…)

I’m so excited to be part of the team, chat soon!

End-of-year comparisonitis is real in clinic land...

If your feed is full of “fully booked” and “biggest year yet” posts, remember
your business isn’t meant to look like anyone else’s.

Slow seasons, pivots, building foundations, raising babies, studying, resting - it all counts.

You’re not behind, you’re building.

Stay in your lane, keep serving well and the right clients will keep finding you 🤍✨
