Hey everyone, it's been a while! 👋

For those new here, hi, I'm Paige from Skye Creative. For those that have been messaging me asking where I am, I am finally back online after a long-winded hiatus!🌪️

There's been some major changes in my life and in my business which led me to take a little break from social while I got myself back into an organised space. Now that I'm rockin' and ready to start sharing content again, I thought it was time to give my business a little facelift. 😊

Why?

Because the way I branded my business when I first started out 2 years ago, really doesn't reflect who I am anymore. Nothing helps you grow like starting your own business, and the direction I've grown in is very different to where I started 🤍

So with that in mind, here's a little sssssneaky peak of what's to come! 🙌

I can't wait to show you what I've been working on and start connecting with you all again.

Rachel's clients have been on her case for years to build a website, and what better time to finally get it done than another Sydney lockdown? 😂

I'm really proud to say I built this site because I know how significant this is for Rachel's business.

What else do you do with 6 bottles of wine and all the time in the world during NSW’s lockdown? You find your own fun and throw a mini wine shoot, that’s what 😂🍷

My partner Jorge Rivera] is an incredibly talented photographer who is always open to my creative ideas. In fact, we do a lot of work together shooting content for my clients’ social media!

When I told him I wanted to shoot some wine content for he was all for it, and I’m so glad because he absolutely nailed my vision 😍💛

So, anyone looking for wine during lockdown, definitely recommend Jacob’s Creek (particularly the AJ Grenache!) and anyone looking for a product photographer, hit up the very best, Jorge Rivera] 🙌

When you find the perfect outfit to go from client meeting to after-work drinks, you can't help but give yourself a little show 😂

Barbie is such an icon. In 1984, the slogan 'We Girls Can Do Anything' was introduced to the brand, and yes girl 🙌 we certainly can! I try to take on this attitude each and every day to manifest happiness, success and like-minded people into my life!

I'm so grateful for the beautiful friends and clients I have that share this same attitude!

Happy Hump Day!

Here's some of nature's best humps captured in this stunning mountainscape! I love the way the sunset draws purple tones from the shadows of the mountains that play beautifully with the orange and pink light of the sky.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how important do you think branding is for your business? 🤔

The answer is 11! Branding is one of the most important parts of the process of setting up and establishing your business. Everything from your logo, to colour palette to font choices is a representation of your company and communicates something to a consumer - so you want to make sure it's the right message! 💌

Here are four ways to make sure you're on the right path with branding:

🕵️‍♀️ DO YOUR RESEARCH
Look at what's going on in your industry right now and get an idea of what your consumers respond to best. See what has been successful for your competitors and brainstorm what could be the unique point for your business.

💡 START WITH A MOODBOARD
Create an inspiration board of the direction you see your brand going in. In fact, create a few! This can help you visualise the best direction to move in in terms of colour choices and imagery.

📋 CREATE BRAND GUIDELINES
This, in my opinion, is one of the most essential things that EVERY business should have - and yet, most businesses I've worked with don't have them! Brand Guidelines are a set of rules your business follows, containing branded fonts, colours, communication guidelines and more. They're usually represented in a PDF presentation that's clear and easy to pass on to your web dev and social media team, to ensure every place that your brand is represented is flawlessly consistent!

Do you ever just have a little freak out because things aren't happening the way you expected them too? That was me last week 😂

I completely believe that you can achieve anything if you work hard enough, and in the power of manifestation. But sometimes it takes the universe a little bit longer to help you achieve your goals, and it can be scary not knowing what's going to happen next!

Whenever I doubt myself or the universe I like to take a step back, look at the bigger picture, and do a little meditation to help me get things back in order. It's a way to remind myself that the universe always has a plan, and to trust in the process (while also putting in the hard work to make it happen!).

How pretty are these colours together 😍 I love to balance images of nature with different materials and textures such as velvet, leatherbound books, mugs and magazines. There's something about the way the textures work together that just hits the spot for me!

Who has spent way too much time worrying about what other people were thinking, to the point of anxiety? 🙅‍♀️ Time to hit and quit that ideology!

I've definitely fallen victim to this mentality before, but talking it out with people I love has always helped me get back to the right mindset. There are always going to be people that judge you/dislike you/send negative vibes your way, but YOU have the power to say BYE 👋 to letting that affect you! Their thoughts can't affect the path you walk, only you control that.

So when you feel down about what other people are thinking/feeling about you, just remember you're doing your THANG and the only opinions that should honestly matter are those of your friends, family and of course, your beautiful clients! 🥰
