📘 BBM: A Century of Courage and Connection

We’re proud to share one of our most significant and heartfelt projects yet!

Commissioned to mark BBM’s 100th anniversary, this 200-page hardcover publication captures a century of migration, memory and mentorship – from the journeys of the Little Brothers to the Global Footprints Scholars continuing their legacy today.

Researched, written, edited and designed by Jillian Betts, Principal Consultant, the project was delivered end-to-end by Saie Comms – from concept and content to layout, visual storytelling and print. Now officially published and soon to be available through BBM.

On Monday this week, we were proud to see our latest project showcased and launched at BBM’s 100-year Centenary Celebration event. We worked with BBM to design a custom permanent signage installation at Calmsley Hill City Farm, capturing a century of history. Now, visitors, students and the community can experience and understand BBM’s legacy in a memorable and engaging way, enhancing their visit and making history come alive.

One project we’re proud of: Venture Housing’s 2023 Rebrand and custom Marketing & Communications Strategy.

Based in Darwin, NT, Venture Housing is dedicated to providing safe, affordable and sustainable housing for those most in need. Their vision is to address housing challenges while fostering strong community connections and delivering positive social and economic outcomes in the Northern Territory.

Their 2023 rebrand was a pivotal step in reflecting their growth, leadership and long-term vision for tackling housing inequality. It positioned Venture as a dynamic leader in the sector, strengthened community and stakeholder engagement, and reinforced their deep connection to the Northern Territory.

A highlight of the rebrand was collaborating with First Nations artist Anthony Lew-Fatt, whose artwork symbolising connection, community and progress added authenticity and depth to the brand.

Key deliverables included:
🎨 Logo design, brand guidelines and templates.
🌟 A refreshed brand featuring Anthony Lew-Fatt’s artwork.
📈 A strategy to amplify their voice and impact.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲!

Since launching Saie Comms in 2021, I’ve been privileged to work with incredible clients who are transforming communities, industries and lives.

In the last few years, they've been:
• Delivering safe, affordable homes by increasing housing supply, renewing social housing estates, redesigning rental schemes and expanding services nationwide
• Innovating software that empowers health professionals to focus on delivering exceptional care and better client outcomes
• Building stronger communities through programs that champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing; while supporting vulnerable groups like seniors and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, and
• Fostering legacy and leadership by empowering young Australians with scholarships that aid them to break barriers, lead in critical sectors and drive sustainability efforts that align with global challenges and opportunities.

I recognise that in busily supporting my clients, I haven’t shared much of the journey along the way. This year, my goal is to do this a little more intentionally and regularly – so stay tuned!

You may remember some time ago, we were knee deep in the middle of a large CX and Client Research project for a client in the Community Services sector.

It’s been some time now since we wrapped up that project, but we were thrilled to recently receive the above feedback from our client, who advised us that our final Research Report continues to be their “baseline document [for] decisions around services and products”; and that the impact of this has meant that they are “building a more sustainable and aligned organisation to meet community needs”.

This is music to our ears!

As a purpose-driven organisation, nothing makes us happier than to hear how our clients are kicking such meaningful goals and demonstrating such social impact, by sharpening their focus around community needs! We look forward to seeing how they continue to innovate and improve their services and experiences to address the needs and opportunities that were identified.
