I was recently asked to typeset a book cover to match a flyer from 1919. It is interesting that the main typeface is still available but many typefaces and fonts were needed. Today most designers would only use 2 or 3 typefaces; this flyer used 5. And the leading and kerning (the spaces between the characters) varies much more than we usually see today. And yet it is obvious that someone took a good deal of pride in producing this beautiful piece of work.

We put an aged paper background behind our recreation for effect.

We were thrilled to be involved in the production of this stunning book on the Tsoshar region of the Upper Mustang. The book was published by Margie Thomas to showcase the beauty of the region and to raise funds for this remote community. The book is filled with amazing photos and intriguing cultural information. Designed by Beehive Creative and printed by South West Printing. Proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated back to the Tsoshar Community. You can donate to Margie's cause here.

We have just finished another order for the Bundanoon Community Association. A great guide that is part of a welcome pack given to new residents. The guide lists contact details for all of the town's clubs and associations, regular events, maps, services, bus and train timetables. Out with the old. We recently updated the decade old information on our local community tourist board. Thanks to Andy Carnahan for doing the ground work. We matched colours & fonts to the original board to maintain its heritage value. See comment below for the final result. We couldn't fit every business in so we concentrated on those most relevant to visitors.

The map near the station has been updated by the BCA to reflect the changes in the shops and attractions in Bundanoon in recent years.

The replacement panels were designed to closely match both colour and style of the old panels to keep the heritage style. A map of the shopping area has has been included. The design and printing of the panels was sponsored by South West Printing.
