You can be targeting the best keywords with the right bids.

You can have an extensive negative keyword list to block out low buying intent searches.

The reality is NONE of this will matter if you are driving clicks to your home page.

Let us back up to our main objective here - To get your ideal customer to take the desired action you want which can convert to a sale. Whether its a phone call or form submission.

With mobile phones taking up 60% of all searches, this means your landing page has very little time to capture and engage your customers.

- Make it as easy as possible for them to take the desired action you want them to take. ( One consistent call to action)

- Give them the information they are after relating to the search term which has brought them to your page E.G If I am looking for a dentist to give me a root canal, I don't want to be sent to a page about the importance of a regular dental clean/ check-up.

Remember - it's not about the traffic you can get to your site, it's about the traffic you can keep and get them to take the action you want.
