For the past three years, Insights Exchange has partnered with Serko on a research program that has genuinely shaped product strategy and market direction.

The brief was to understand how AI is reshaping corporate travel in the US, and what Serko needed to do about it. The work spanned multiple phases and audiences - US business travellers, then corporate travel managers. The headline insight was that the constraint wasn't technology... it was capability and organisational confidence.

That finding directly informed Serko's US go-to-market strategy - shifting from product-led to education-led, including the launch of their "AI for Travel Managers" program (500+ professionals trained to date).

It also underpinned the development and positioning of what's now live - Serko.ai - an autonomous, multi-agent travel platform built from the ground up.

When nearly one in three women are carrying debt without any savings buffer, we’re not looking at individual budgeting issues - we’re looking at structural economic vulnerability.

While recent news headlines suggest companies are moving in the right direction, the reality is that half of employers still report a gender pay gap in favour of men greater than 11.2% (WGEA).

The gender gap is most striking amongst 40-44yos where there is a 34% gap between men and women suggesting women in mid-life (likely managing combined pressures of career, caregiving and household debt) face a meaningfully worse financial position than men at the same age.

These figures are an early sneak peak we are releasing from our upcoming Annual Consumer Trends Report ahead of International Women’s Day this Sunday, 8 March.
