Let’s clear this up:
First I have no problem with manifesting.

But it's not going to help you here, using a bunch of random hashtags won’t magically send your post to the explore page, would be nice it did though.

Hashtags can help with visibility, sure if your content already connects.
They can help categorise your post, but they won’t save it from being confusing or inconsistent.

The real secret?

Clarity. Consistency. Actual strategy.
Not 30 random tags and crossed fingers.

Use them with intention, not as a lifeline.

There was a time I nearly walked away from it all.

I was going through a divorce and facing a breast cancer diagnosis, at the same time.

Running a business while your world is falling apart behind the scenes felt impossible. I was exhausted, emotionally drained, and questioning whether I had anything left to give. The drive I once had was buried under survival mode. Instead of being home at my computer working, I was watching the tennis while having chemo in hospital (yes that's my feet in pic 🙄)

Instead of quitting though, I put it on hold, as I wasn't ready to give it all up.
Now, slowly I am starting it back up. Step by little step. Not always gracefully. Not always confidently. But I didn’t quit.

And now, I’m proud of that version of me who shows when I can, even if when it's messy and far from perfect.

If you’re in a hard season, please know: it’s okay to pause, it’s okay to fall apart, and it’s okay to not have it all figured out.
You don’t have to be perfect to keep going, you just have to be gentle with yourself and take the next small step.

Early feedback is in...

After being away from my biz and socials for so long I decided to go back to basics. I did an audit on my social profiles: updated bios to clearly reflect the changes I've made to my offers.

After that I did a deep dive into my strategy and plan:
– I reassessed my target audience
– Set new goals
– I refined my content pillars and created a content brainstorm list of post idea
– I created a months worth of content and captions as well as blurbs for various promos
– I scheduled several weeks worth of content (at different times to work out when the best time to post was) and got busy engaging to start rebuilding community

To do all this I actually used my own Simply Your Socials guide. I wanted to see how it worked (and yes I made a few tweaks as a result) and I admit it made a daunting process easy. I love using spreadsheets so I copied the headings from the templates into a spreadsheet and had each page of my spreadsheet a new section, eg one page was biz overview, next was goals, then pillars etc. I found this a really easy way to work with all the data as it's all in the one place. I do print out a monthly calendar as I love writing down when I am scheduling my posts on paper and then adding analytic numbers to it.

By relaunching with purpose, clarity, and consistency, I'm hoping to reconnect authentically and build momentum fast.

Just to be clear, posting every day isn’t a strategy.

It’s just... posting every day.

Let’s be real:
