🌇New episode out now: Leanne Shelton on AI, copywriting, and why human judgment still matters.

For Episode 3 of 🌆 Soc•AI•l Skylines, Christina Elisha Vetta and Gary Andrews sat down with Leanne Shelton, founder of HumanEdge AI Training global AI
trainer, keynote speaker, and author of AI Human Fusion.

Leanne brings a rare perspective to the conversation.
Before moving into AI training, she ran a copywriting agency, so she has seen both sides of the shift: the disruption AI has created for writers, and the
opportunity it gives experienced marketers to create stronger, sharper work.

In this episode, we talk about:
â—ľWhy AI-generated copy often feels flat or generic
â—ľHow experienced writers can use AI to amplify their
skills, not replace them
â—ľWhy brand voice training matters more than most
people realise
â—ľThe importance of transparency when using AI with
clients
â—ľWhy good AI use should still make your brain hurt a
little

One of Leanne’s strongest points is that AI content stays surface-level until a human adds the layers:
strategy, audience understanding, tone, structure, critique, and real-world context.

For creatives, copywriters and business owners trying to work out where AI fits into the content process, this is a practical and very grounded conversation that will point you in the right direction.

New episode out now: Jimmy Wong on AI, food, content, and small business.

For Episode 2 of 🌆Soc•AI•l Skylines, Christina Vetta, Founder and Director of Social Hills, and Gary Andrews, marketing, brand and growth leader, sat down with Jimmy Wong, two-time MasterChef Australia contestant, including Back To Win, food blogger, content creator, chef, and President of the Hills Business Precinct.

Jimmy shares how he uses AI to support the admin-heavy side of his work, from planning and recipe adjustments to tailoring for different dietary needs, so there’s more room to focus on the work that still needs a human behind it.

As he puts it, a good AI assistant can be as essential as a good chef’s knife.

AI can generate endlessly.♾️That doesn’t mean it knows what’s worth keeping.

▶Episode 1 of Soc•AI•l Skylines features Tomas Haffenden, Senior Creative Producer at Telstra, on why the future of creativity isn’t just about making more, it’s about knowing what to keep.

We get into knolling, prompting, curation, and the growing problem of AI “slop” in a sea of sameness.

🌇 Soc•AI•l Skylines, a Social Hills production, is filming on 5 December in📍Surry Hills, and there are only a few interview slots still open.

The series brings together real stories from creative, social, marketing and advertising professionals who use AI in their day-to-day work. No hype, no theory, just the reality of how these tools actually show up in workflows.

Each guest shares what’s helping, what’s getting in the way, and the unexpected moments that come with AI becoming part of the creative process.

Interviews run as short, in-person conversations that cut through the noise and surface what’s genuinely useful for the industry.

Hosted by 🎙️Christina Elisha Vetta and 🎙️Gary Andrews, the format is built around honest insight and smart creativity, with AI as the accelerant rather than the star.

đź’¬ If you or someone in your network has a story or case study to contribute, DM Social Hills to discuss availability.

Most people don’t realise just how many times they’ve heard play guitar. 🎸

One of Australia’s busiest session musicians, Pete’s been first call for jingles since the mid-’80s - playing on just about every KFC, McDonald’s and Telstra ad you can think of. His work sits under 12 production albums, with his music featured on Oprah, Dr Phil, and just about every major sporting and lifestyle show on TV.

He’s recorded with everyone from Guy Sebastian and Jimmy Barnes to Dragon and Daryl Braithwaite, and toured alongside Elton John, Cher, Shania Twain, and Billy Joel.

He a Social Hills client (and Christina's Guitar teacher) We rock with the best! 🫶

The way I approach filling his 25-year-running Birthday Show is the same as filling a large corporate event - build demand, blend organic engagement with paid reach, and drive last chance messaging right to the finish line. Event campaigns is one of my favourite kinds of marketing - if done the right way.

This year, we’ve just opened up extra seats due to demand. 🙌

What we've loved most about this latest campaign is Pete’s creative approach to creative. He took a static montage and ran it through AI to create a more dynamic version for me to use in the ads. Simple idea, big impact. Incredible click through rates!

It’s a great reminder of how AI is changing creative work - sometimes for the better, sometimes not - but always in ways worth talking about. I am keen to keep the discussion about AI and creativity going...

Looking for a show to attend this Saturday night, 1st November? Go check out Pete and his line-up of musicians at The Juniors!🎶
