Lately I’ve been reflecting on the frequent use of AI-generated graphics across our community.

I’m wondering if it is actually a symptom of burnout or perfectionism - Two things that are so common in the vegan community.

In pursuit of perfection, we think AI can do a better job than us.

Or we are spread so thin that we think it’ll be easier to write an AI prompt and tick that item off the list.

It makes complete sense why we turn to AI tools for ease.

But it’s a trade-off between convenience and the depth of your message.

The depth is what resonates with your community and drives impact.

Is that really something we want to sacrifice?

Like many small business owners, there were (and still are) times when self-doubt creeps in.

But over the years, I’ve learned to trust what I have to offer and recognise the unique value I bring.

This is your reminder that growth isn’t always the flashy milestones but the moments we choose to back ourselves. 💚

Once you are awakened to their suffering, it’s all you can see, all the time. 💔

The constant ache in my heart weighs heavy and sometimes that feels too much to bear.

But then I remember how privileged I am to be in the position of witnessing it, rather than experiencing it, and I cannot turn away from animals in their moment of need.

They are my reason. I will never stop fighting until all animals are free. ⛓️‍💥

This National Animal Rights Day, I stand in solidarity with my fellow vegans and animal rights activists.

May we always have the courage to stand against the status quo for what we know is right. ✊

In the animal rights space, we often feel like we can't switch off because there is always more to be done. 🕐

I’ve been there – checking client notifications in bed, taking my work on holidays, getting lost in endless scrolling and calling it ‘research’.

I was always on but never fully present, carrying the stress from one day into the next.

It left me feeling burnt out and questioning the longevity of my work. ❤️‍🔥

I had to actively choose something different. Not just for my sanity, but for the quality of the work I do for the animals.

Now, my boundaries are the systems that allow me to show up at 100% for my clients without losing myself in the process.

If there’s one thing you do today, I would recommend you prioritise opportunities for rest so you can stay in the fight for the long haul. 🙏
