The next day you get an email.
He’s checking in to see if you enjoyed his ebook…
Displaying a sincere concern.
He makes you believe that you can succeed.
You feel motivated to pursue his teachings.
A few days go by, and as expected you feel like your progress is eluding you.
Another email flys into your inbox.
It’s the guy again…

To me, one of the most important things as a service provider is to learn from the best.

To be constantly scanning the world for learning opportunities.

- SendPulse
- Mailchimp

Differentiate yourself from your competitors.

Don’t be generic and write like every other business.

Logic appeals to the eye, emotion appeals to the ear. Logic makes people think, emotion makes them act.

By using relatable imagery, you are showing your customers that you understand their problem and have the tools available to solve it.

After all, what do we really buy that doesn’t solve a problem?

For example, in the action phase, you need to paint a picture with words/ use an emotional appeal so the customer can understand in their mind the benefits and use of the product.

Now how can you effectively communicate this?

1. Empathise with your customer rather than sympathise.

Sympathy is when you agree with your prospect that their situation is horrible and maybe even offer them some comfort.

Whereas

Empathy allows you to understand what they are going through and OFFER A SOLUTION.

By doing this, you show them that you are able to be of value to them and SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS.

After all, what do you really buy that isn’t solving one of your problems?

2. Appeal to them with logic in the form of testimonials, social proof and respected authority to WIN THEM OVER.
