We are feeling very grateful for our team member LEO...

You may know him as the friendly guy with the big smile who closes all your frames and makes them perfect to take home. Focusing on the detail and meticulous ex*****on are his jam, but did you know he is also an artist?

Leo loves to be out in the world then from memory illustrates what he sees. Fashion and culture are a big focus and you can find his work on the pages of Vogue amongst other fabulous magazines. Check his insta page for samples of his work .greenfield

When he is in our shop/lab you will love chatting to talk through your own work so he can help bring your artwork to life. Artist to artist.

Thanks Leo for being on Team CCP...
Cheers!

We cant talk enough about ARTGLASS..

Just look at the difference in their sample here. The full butterfly affect is simply stunning.

Yes it cost a bit more than regular but aren't you and your artwork worth it?

a good send off for photographer Martin Parr...

The photographer loved to record the small details of life, so it was only fitting that his family should organise a send-off inspired by his work. ‘Funerals can be really beautiful,’ says the person tasked with recording the event

Drum roll…..here is our WINNER

CONGRATULATIONS TO
Andy Wills for his image ‘Hang Time’.

The wow factor in Andy’s photo attracted high scores from each of the three judges. This arresting image, almost Escher-like, made us question what we were looking at. The simplicity of choosing a well-made image and offering this way was the charm. Well done Andy.

You receive over $1,500 in cash and will take home the image custom printed and framed after it hangs in our shop/lab window until the next winner comes along. You will also receive a bottle of wine to celebrate, and we will donate to your charity of choice on your behalf. [we will be in touch with details]

Thanks to everyone who entered the comp and helped keep the photo community alive.. we hope you will be part of the next theme too:
ANIMALS - DOMESTIC and WILD. Entry portal is now open.

We have been showing, in no particular order, the Top 11 Finalists in the UNEXPECTED PERSPECTIVES photo competition over the past week. These two images are the last of that batch.

Both of these photographers have delighted us with their humour and skill to be in the right place at the right time. And before you say it was luck, its more than luck to recognise when a moment is happening and to be able to capture it perfectly.

‘Headless’ by Georg Worecki works well as he also chose to use b/w so we see exactly what he saw. That’s one of its magic tricks.

John Chapman’s image titled ‘Walking on Water’ works better and better the longer you look. The entire image is swirling in on itself to make you see the magic of the image that is Walking on Water!

Tune in tomorrow to find out 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!!

The human body provided the key to these perspectives in our UNEXPECTED PERSPECTIVES themed photo competition. The next two images in our TOP 11, in no particular order, are:

Andy Wills - ‘Hang Time’ and Paul McGuire’s ‘The Vaulter’.

Andy created a very well composed and captivating image whilst Paul adopted a choice of using black and white to add an emotional aspect to his photograph.
We know how the body should be on this earth so showing us these perspectives certainly made us dizzy - in a good way. Both had the judges hanging on for sure!

Tune in tomorrow for the last of the Finalists.

All winners - 1st 2nd 3rd and the People’s Choice - will be announced on Saturday 30th May.
