Exactly 25 years ago today Gerard and I launched our company DMC Advertising Group. We have certainly changed since our humble beginnings in the spare bedroom of our tiny town house with a handful of loyal clients.

Since then we have grown into a loyal team of 12 dedicated, enthusiastic professionals, won awards, have beautiful offices in Norwest Business Park, we've met wonderful supportive people and we proudly care for a blue chip client base ranging from small local operations through to major multinationals.

While our services have grown to meet the ever changing needs of the industry, we continue to focus on providing a highly personalised, top quality service which has been the hallmark of DMC since its beginning.

Thank you to everybody who has made this possible - staff, contractors, suppliers and clients - you are all an intrinsic part of "Team DMC".

But a special thank you goes to my business partner (and husband), Gerard without whom none of this could have been possible. You are my rock, my best friend and the very best business partner a girl could have.

We are looking for a Casual Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join our fast-paced and thriving business in Norwest. If you’re a passionate marketer who has great ideas with a very keen eye for detail and digitally savvy, this is the job for you.
We are a boutique agency working with some of the largest companies in Australia.
A bit about the role…
You will always be kept busy with various roles to help support the marketing team. The role will include planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs, assisting with the development of new marketing strategies, conducting market research, analysing data to monitor campaigns and evaluate results, creating and managing the production of marketing collateral, creation, management and monitoring of social media campaigns and providing project-specific administrative support.

Previous experience in Digital Marketing roles is desirable.
This role will begin with 10-15 hours per week with the potential to increase as the business requires. An absolute PASSION for marketing and client satisfaction is a must!
An ability to use your initiative... You often answer questions with 'I've done it already! Clear & upbeat communication skills.
You need above average computer skills.
Possess a solid knowledge of Display, Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliate and Email Marketing.
Flexibility -Weekdays 9-5, with flexibility in hours and days
You're a true people-person who lives and breathes service, committed to ensuring a positive experience for every client.
You must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint on PC

You must be well spoken, confident and empathetic when communicating with clients.

Take initiative and be self-motivated.

Be punctual, reliable and responsible.

Work well in a small team environment.

Polite and cheerful personality.

Ability to work as team member within a small team environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contract
Salary: $20 per hour

Karl is our creative genius.
He can design your new logo, brochure, trade show stand or website. He is creative AND analytical. He is a calm and steady influence in our crazy world here at DMC and we love him.
When he isn't at work (which isn't very often 🤣 ) he can be found either enjoying his beautiful family or at the gym pumping iron.
