Most small business owners hit record before they've answered the only question that matters:
"Why should anyone watch the next 7 seconds of my life?"
That's the test. Before you film, write the hook on a sticky note.
Read it out loud. If it isn't a line you'd personally stop scrolling for, don't film. Rewrite.
I've been on shoot days where we filmed 14 reels back to back.
We threw 9 of them in the bin before they made it to drafts.
The 5 that survived that filter did 6x the views of anything we'd posted the month before.
The filter is brutal. That's the point.
If you can't make the hook earn 7 seconds of someone's life, the rest of the reel won't either.
This week: write your next 5 hooks on paper before you touch the camera.
Read them out loud to one person. Watch their face. Only film the ones that don't get a polite nod.
Save this for your next batch shoot.
